I will be absent today because of two injuries during a soccer match on Sunday afternoon. My lower back and tailed bone are bruised and my right calf muscle is strained. I will return tomorrow after a day spent in bed. If i could get tonight's homework that would be great, please and thank you.

I still won't be again, be in the class. This feeling of lightheadedness and general feeling of weakness hasn't left me and the world seems to be tilted. When I try to even lift myself up from bed, its as if theirs this thick congealed mass i have to press through.

Good Morning, I wont be in class because I misplaced my bus pass... I was cleaning out my bag last night and am currently looking for where my pass disappeared too.. I have read about 4 chapters more into the book so what we read today, I have already read and took notes on it and will return to class tomorrow.

My goodness, I'm sorry Mrs ____  I know it's the last day to write the type one for the Gran Torino analytically however, I won't be present for today due to a mishap on my part. I'll show it to you tomorrow (the mishap) and so I want to know if I can write and finish up the type one, in an earlier block than 5 for tomorrow.

Hey, I won't be in class tomorrow- Monday April 29th. I won't be at school at all; on Saturday to Sunday morning I spent over 5 hours in emergency at [hospital facility] after being in an accident with a mountain bike down a steep hill. I fell onto my knee and my bike fell ontop on concrete/ gravel. I've been on heavy duty pain meds - Percocet and have a doctors note. I'm currently in a half cast from my upper thigh to my ankle and walking with crutches. I need a day to be walking on the crutches correctly and time to sleep. I got home at 4 am this morning. Ill take it as my duty to get caught up on the power points on [online learning site] for what ill be missing. And yes thankfully i wore a helmet.

Many of the students in class today did not do their homework, so I asked them to provide me a note explaining why. M---- wrote that he did not do it because "I have a family to provide for and a wife to feed", but he had crossed out "wife" and put "dog". I asked him to give me a serious answer, and he then started to write some made-up story again. Had to correct him AGAIN. Reason ended up being that it was low on his priorities list because he felt he already knew the material well enough. Hmmm...

good morning, I wont be in English today. I basically went into this semester without thinking of the courses that i need for what i wanna do in post secondary and now that I have finally decided what i want to do, I realize there are a couple things that i have to get changed on my time table to get me going on the right track. I have to go to [local college] and talk to one of their student advisers and find out more about the course i wanna take and find out if i have to upgrade my social cause if i do, then i have to go sit with my grade coordinator and do more course changes and i have no idea if that means ill be switched out of your english class or switched out of another class in order to get everything i need. After i figure everything out today, and if my english class and bio stay the same then ill be back in class tomorrow for sure. ill keep you posted for the most part but i figure since its 3 days already into the new semester, i gotta buckle down on getting everything i need to, organized.

Unfortunately,i will not be able to attend class today because of unforeseeable circumstances. [just some background,my house is like 60 years old with chapped unvarnished wooden stairs] This is going to sound really silly/stupid and is embarrassing to talk about.But i'm going to explain my situation.I was trying to put on pants while going down from the second level of my house.When all over a sudden i fell down the stairs(falling down on my leg).I now have about 30 splinters(large and small) in my left leg with alot of them are concentrated around my ankle so i'm limping around.I either need to go to a medicentre or pop a few tylenol and manually pull them out myself.Either way it will be a long arduous process. i understand the need for the class to move forward,so i will be willing to come in for first and or second block on monday.

One of my students missed her unit exam because she fell asleep with her earbud style headphones on.  When she woke up, the foam padding was stuck in her ear.  She asked her mom to help get it out, and her mom pushed it all the way into her ear canal.  When she showed up today, she said the foam piece was still in there.  I didn't ask to look.
